FAQ’s
Are there incentives available? How do I apply?
Yes. There is a 30% Tax Credit which is available to just about everyone. CA has a CSI rebate available (.65/ watt produced –as of 4/2010) -We will handle the rebate application process for you!
What are the maintenance requirements of a solar array installed on my home?
With no moving parts, the system is virtually maintenance-free. Spraying down the modules to keep them free of dust and dirt will increase productivity and that’s about it.
How much will it cost for me to go solar?
That answer is different for everyone and we are happy to give you an individual quote. Your roof size, shape, orientation and shading will affect the rebate –which brings down your price. Your electricity usage will also determine the size of the array. Many factors come into play when determining the pricing of a solar system for your home. We will be happy to visit your site to discuss all of these factors and we will help you to decide on the system size that best suits your needs. How long will the system last?
In all honesty –decades! Modules usually carry a 20 year warranty and they are often still producing power after 30 years. An inverter is usually under warranty for 10 years and good for 12-15 years. We build these systems to last 30 years or more and we offer a 10 year warranty on services provided.
